What is Haus of Brews?
Haus of Brews is our club’s premier fundraiser. It is an event that helps us raise money for our many service projects. The majority of funds raised are invested locally in our communities, along with a healthy dose of volunteerism from members.
Haus of Brews is an Octoberfest-style event hosted in Andover. The experience includes:
• Local craft beer tasting
• Local wine sampling
• All-you-can-eat buffet
• Live jazz music
• Mingling with friends and making new ones
Join us on September 17, 2022 for a one-of-a-kind event in the beautiful and unique patio and landscape settings at Treescapes, located at 1202 N Andover Road, Andover, KS 67002.
What is the Rotary Club of Andover?
Founded in 2003, our club has been involved in service projects locally, regionally, and internationally, focusing on disease prevention, clean water, saving mothers and children, education, literacy, and growing local economies. If our club had an official motto it would be that serving others should be FUN.
What are some of our current service projects?
Student Mini-Grants: We offer mini-grants to the Andover school district for their students to conduct service projects within the community.
Andover Food Bank: Through our long-time partnership with the Andover United Methodist Church, we provide nutrition to at-risk families.
Rotary Youth Leadership: We send hand-picked Juniors from Andover and Augusta high schools to a week-long leadership camp every summer.
Novel Journeys: One of our very first initiatives, partnering with the Andover Public Library, we deliver reading and audio materials to home-bound seniors and disabled patrons.
