Panel Discussion, moderated by Michelle McCormick, Director of Victim Services for the Kansas Attorney General’s Office. She will also give a high level overview of what Human Trafficking is, how things are in Kansas, Wichita, etc.
This will be an important first step in introducing Wichita’s Rotary community to the scourge of human trafficking in our city and a tool to get our collective membership inspired to help. A call to action for committee members – cross-clubs – will go out at the meeting and then the real work will begin to best decide and organize how Rotary can be a powerful partner in helping our fellow Wichitans in need.
This meeting is hosted by Rotary Club of Wichita. Guests from other clubs will be charged $18 for lunch and will need to register with Kitchel Woods – kitchel@wichitarotary.org – by EOD Thursday, 1/26.
