One of our newest members, Dr. Christiane Smith, spoke to the Club today along with founding member Mark Owens. Mark shared his wisdom regarding insurance plans and the different options available to consumers while Dr. Smith introduced her practice to the group.

Dr. Smith is a Direct Primary Care provider, which means that she cuts the middle man (insurance) out so that she is able to save her patients time and money. With an affordable monthly fee, patients get increased access to Dr. Smith, more time with her and wholesale prices on medicines, labs, and imaging studies. The healthcare is focused on the person, not the insurance company, not the clock and not on the number of patients that need to be seen.
